On Saturday, Mommy and Daddy took me out for a fun outing. We went out for breakfast first. I had some pancakes.
Then we went to the museum. I played with lots of stuff while I was there. We are members, so we get to go into the museum an hour before anyone else. Thats fun, because then I can actually get to the stuff and I don't have to fight off any big boys and girls. Mommy showed me a big chalkboard that you could paint with water and make designs.
Then she let me play with the paintbrushes while she sat and took pictures of me. Daddy went off somewhere while we did this.
She took a LOT of pictures of me. Mostly of my head, or the top of me. Then Daddy came back and said "How did you get all wet, Owen??" Mommy looked at the last picture she had taken of me and noticed that my pants were SOAKING.
While I was playing with the brushes, dipping them in the water and taking them out, I was getting my pants all wet too, but Mommy was too busy playing amateur photographer to care (none of the pictures turned out that great anyway because the light was pretty poor). Ordinarily this would just have been annoying, but it was REALLY COLD in NC last week, so I didn't want to go outside with wet pants on! And Mommy was not prepared with spare pants in my diaper bag. I hardly ever have blowouts anymore so she has gotten complacent. So Daddy took my pants and took them to a bathroom to dry them off.
Of course while Daddy was gone and I was walking around with no pants on, Mommy's friend Kristin showed up with her family. I have not seen Kristin or her family since March, when they came over for my St. Patrick's Day party, and I was embarrassed that the first time I saw them I was out in public, pantsless. I mean, its okay to be pantsless at your own house, but at the museum? Yikes. Mommy is so irresponsible.

Pants schmants! You might be starting a new trend!
Did the girls whistle at you, your legs look great! Obviously you will not be allowed to help mummy & daddy with decorating....Take care, hugs & kisses, love Nan & Grandad.
