Lost my Marbles

Last weekend, Mommy and Daddy and I went to Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh with my friends from school. We haven't been there before because its kinda far away, and the Museum of Life and Science is right around the corner. But Marbles was definitely way cooler.

First of all, there were these cool steps that we all played on. My friends and I ran back and forth and yelled a lot.

That would have been worth the price of admission on its own, but there was actually more stuff inside the museum. Like a big bus.

Only it wasn't really a bus, it was a slide!

The slide slid into a whole big area that was just full of stuff. It was complete toddler chaos. I mean, I hardly even saw my friend Ike while we were there, or any of my friends, really. There was so much to see! Like, a car that was Buggle-sized (and apparently had seats upholstered by Holly Aiken, who makes these cool bags that Mommy wants.

There was also a little area where you could do some gardening.

And then we found my favorite area, the grocery store.

The only reason I left the cash register at all is because Mommy and Daddy made me share with someone who was waiting. Next we went to an area that had lots of wooden blocks to stack - my favorite!

There were also some cool wooden trucks and cars with people in them.

We did finally tear ourselves away from the toddler chaos area and look at some of the rest of the museum. There was a big pirate ship, right in the middle of the museum!

Daddy tried to sell me to some pirates, but they didn't go for it, so he made me walk the plank.

Then we found this TOTALLY AWESOME huge Connect Four game. I don't know what the whole point of the big thing behind me was though. I connected four on the floor.

Then we went upstairs where there was an exhibit about school in Japan.

We had so much fun at Marbles that I totally didn't take a nap for the rest of the day. Wooooo!
